It Feels Like Home

A Boston girl goes Hollywood then chucks it away for a life in OZ… these are my adventures and general musings.

We’re back from Boston and it’s been go, go, go since we arrived home. The end of October was met with saying a final farewell to beloved family member, celebrating a Baptism, running around to Little Miss T’s various Halloween festivities, finding a place to call our (temporary) “home”, packing and fighting off colds.

On top of that, Little Miss T is mobile- she’s crawling and keeping me on my toes! I need to get this kid a helmet. She’s up into everything and having so much fun. I love it. She’s doing pretty well in the teething department, too. She has her first four teeth coming through- all around the same time- and seems to be handling it well.

I finally downloaded some recent photos and video so hopefully I’ll have some catch up posts coming soon. Hope all is well with everyone else!

Tooth! We have a tooth starting to poke through! I can feel it, I can see it!

It’s on the bottom front and I think the one next to it isn’t too far away, either.

Ah, how bittersweet… Little Miss T is growing up but I still want my baby 🙂

We started T on solids and so far, it’s been a great success. Since we’re away from home at the moment, we’re taking it slow in case there are any issues. We’ve only served up some organic rice cereal but I can tell T is going to enjoy trying new foods. She loves the cereal so much she’s decided to take things into her own hands and feed herself. I think she likes it!

Rolling On May 24, 2010

For the past week, Little Miss T has been trying really hard to roll over. Fortunately for her, her hard work paid off yesterday when she finally did it! Little Miss T rolled over from her back to her tummy– twice, to be exact! And, I actually captured it on camera AND video. But, you see, we went to download the pictures and movies to our computer and wouldn’t you know it, our computer ate them during the transfer (along with many more precious pictures). Not only that, they were completely deleted from the memory card. So, now we are just left with fond memories of the occasion.

I’m sure there will be many more rolls in our future but still, what are the chance of catching a milestone on camera when it actually happens… hmph!
